They run TTS with a slight edge towards being a bit bigger than TTS. The laces are a complete nightmare. They are leather and will not stay tied, even with double-knots. The laces are part of the aesthetic so replacing them would defeat the look of the shoe. If you don’t mind tying your shoes every 15 minutes, these shoes are very cute and worth the money.

They are lightweight, the leather is thick and fabulous, and the threading details around the soles is amazing. I love the extra attention to detail and did I mention these are comfortable? Love love love. Also always I’ve the packaging and dust bag.

2021-04-15	Buddy Variant: Buddy Black	Worth the splurge Carolina	This is the most expensive pair of shoes I’ve ever bought (even on sale) but as soon as I tried them on I knew they were worth the $$! As well as looking amazing they are super comfortable. I recently sold my docs because after countless wears they were still stiff, heavy and hurt my feet. By contrast the sole on these is fabulously light and they are immediately comfy. Woo! I was a bit nervous about sizing because I have 2 different size feet ( 9-9.5 ish). Went with the advice on here and sized down to 39 and they are perfect. I have narrow feet and there’s no slippage if you do up the laces nice n snug :)

Unlike a few other reviewers, I did need a few walks to break them in – an ambitious first 3-mile journey did give me a blister. Now, however, they are my go-to walk around the city shoes.

2021-03-04	Buddy Variant: Buddy Black	Very Comfortable Anonymous	These are incredibly comfortable and exactly as described: a dressed-up sneaker. I typically find this style of shoe (brogues, etc.) to be too snug and uncomfortable to wear with socks, but you can wear these with socks like a sneaker, which is what I was looking for without having to get docs. I did find them a little long but don't think I can go down a size. I'm between a 40 and 41 and got the 41. I love them overall.

It is hard to find a shoe that hits all points for me but these really knock it out of the park. I work on my feet all day and there are nothin but pure butter on my feet. Highly recommended.

Sometimes shoes like this can be chic but uncomfortable, but not these! I love the soft leather and squishy sole, the shoes are extremely comfortable and I’ve worn them at least once a week since purchasing. HUGE fan of Labucq now!! Also I am typically a US 9 but can be between a 39 and 40 when it’s European sizing and I ended up taking a 39 — hope that helps with fit questions!

I wear a 8.5 so I ordered a 39 and found them to be a little long. I've exchanged them for a 38, so hopefully they won't be too tight. That said, if it does t work out, you can find me in the Caro boot :D

They are beautiful but they are not architected well, it’s a very soft leather on a very stiff piece of foam, this causes a lot of “sliding around” in the shoes even though, they are the correct size, the fit was awful. Very pretty, but not realistic to actually wear at all. Cannot imagine wearing these one day in nyc

I live in nyc and i walk alllll the time so these are great, because they’re light, and they look super polished. love them! i need to cut myself off from this brand cause it’s pricey but I do love their stuff.

Without a sock they were a little roomy but fine once I socked-up. The waxed shoe laces were coming untied but I - no joke- watched a TED Talk about how to tie my shoes correctly and it solved the problem. The only real problem now is that they’re so cute and versatile, I also yearn for a pair in black.

Tried these on a whim and boy I have not taken them off. As always with Labucq the quality is there. Even down to the leather laces. I find them to be extremely comfortable even on my first wear.

The laces and the lace holes feel very chintzy. These are the type of shoes that will look worn and crease within three wears. In addition to the poor quality, the 2-week refund policy is ridiculous because these shoes didn't get delivered until more than a month after the order date. Therefore, upon seeing them and trying them on, there is no way that I can still return them. This is a horrible waste of money and feels like a scam. You'd be better off buying shoes for $20 from Target.
