No break in period needed, but the heel is a bit higher than I expected--not unbearably tall, just a bit higher than what I'm used to. | |

I ordered a 39 as it translates to an 8.5 and I veer between 8.5-9. Could be because I have chubby feet but they have an almost unwearably tight fit. I would recommend sizing up if between sizes. | |

I have been shopping for lace up boots for a long time. Most of the time I return them. They look good on social media photos but that's about it. Not with these Labucq shoes. These really are a beautiful shoe. I love the heel and height. The leather is soft and not at all stiff like most patent leather. The toe is a slightly almond/square toe that does not pinch at all. Very comfortable. Plus, made in Italy, can't be beat. Worth every penny. | |

Why did I wait so long, these are awesome! This is my 5th pair of Labucq’s. Each purchase I debated on getting these, and opted for another style. They look great, and the patent leather is buttery soft. Sure to break in beautifully, and last for years. Love the laces. They are a nice accent. | |

Labucq is great. These run smaller and narrower than the 38 Suba boots (that I wear almost every day). If not for the final sale, I would exchange for a larger size. | |

This is my fourth pair of Labucq shoes. I love the styles, the quality and comfort of all my boots and shoes I have purchased so far. This particular boots is so comfortable. It can be worn with a dress, a pair of jeans and leggings. I usually wear a 5.5 and I bought a 35. | |

I love these boots because they're made with beautiful, durable leather. I've been wearing mine frequently for over 1 year and they're still in great condition. I have chronic foot pain, so I was initially concerned about whether they'd work for me. Most boots have been too narrow and/or provide too little arch support. These are perfect. They're so comfortable and have a suitable heel height. I may get an extra pair now while they're on sale to repair my current ones later. I wish they'd bring back the printed version. | |
