Wish you could do suede style like this as well. I remember having tan/cream suede shoes like this years ago in Italy. Would love to have those again. Kitty shoes are Must have!!! Hope you could make those in suede 😉wink !

If you have wide feet or a high instep these can really hurt and constrict your foot even if sizing up. The leather doesn’t soften with leather conditioner and the shoe doesn’t follow the foot. I wanted these to be a comfortable daily loafer for reasonable city walking but I can only wear them when I’m taking a car. Would recommend taking to your cobbler to help with the break in period.

They feel custom. I can't explain it. I made a commitment this year to wear less tottering heels and more stylish better-for-my feet shoes and this hits the mark in every way. 5 stars. I usually wear a size 9 or 9.5 and I got the 39.

They were comfortable from a heel perspective but very rigid to walk in. The back of my right foot was cut so badly that now I can't even wear tennis shoes without severe pain. I wish I could include a photo of my foot. It didn't even blister, just ripped through my skin. I wish I could return them but cannot as I walked outside with them (albeit a very short distance). Feeling very distressed due to the cost of the shoes!

I can wear every shoe and my boots all day, walk through the airport and everything with no discomfort. Not sure what the secret sauce is here but I’m in forever!

I ordered my usual size and am not between shoe sizes, so I was surprised that they were too small, but sometimes loafers can be tricky like that. If you’re on the fence, I’d contact their customer service to see about what size to order. These shoes seemed to run small, but you wouldn’t know it based off of Labucq’s size guide and fit suggestions. It’s too bad because they’re very cute and I’m sure I would’ve loved them, but unfortunately they’re not available in my size so I couldn’t exchange them.

The Mika was out in a 37 so I tried Kitty Spazzolato in 37. It was the right length, but just too narrow. I considered keeping them in hopes they would stretch enough, but they were just too painful. So, so disappointed…they are high quality, super stylish and yet classic enough to last years.

I swept in to get myself a pair. These are my first Labucq shoes and they are superlative. Carefully designed, beautifully made, elegant but sturdy, and not too narrow for my wide feet. Very comfortable not only to wear but also to walk in. I get so many compliments on them from strangers! A genuine luxury product. Customer Service staff have been warm and "human," too, for want of a better word! Highly recommend. I will be buying more Labucq shoes as soon as I can afford it. Absolutely worth every penny for this superior product.

These are perfection and the material quality is incredible. The soles scuff quickly but it’s nothing a good shoe repair can’t fix in a day or two.

Oddly conservative & dressy but still very hip and down to earth. Size up for sure if you are 1/2 size. They have a generous width which I appreciate. Not wide, but allow the foot to breathe naturally. So comfortable & stable w/o sacrificing fashion. Height is just right. The emerald leather is a tad stiff, so they do take a bit of breaking in. They go with everything, but they are tremendous with pants. And when I say they are oddly conservative, don't get me wrong - the green is still green enough to go wild. She's just an amazing designer.

Sizing: My narrow foot is generally between an 8.0 - 8.5, I returned my 39s for a 38, which fit like a glove; 3. Returns: I had to return the snakeskin shoe because of size, but the color had a slight green hue, and I was going for a different look. I returned the shoes, placed an order for the smaller size in the brown color and recieved it within business days. I also bought the lower heel loafer and couldn’t be more pleased with both of my new additions. Considering a third order. Highly recommend

They are hard to get on for the first try, but will stretch and become true to size! They're also super comfortable after the first initial try on! Don't let the leather fool you, it WILL stretch to fit your foot. If you have a wider foot I'd probably size up one. These are my new favorite! Perfect for every season.

The pair I did end up with is still too roomy lengthwise, though the width is perfect. The soles of each at the front of the shoe also scuffed badly after one wear, similar to the other pictures shared in the reviews. All in all, not what I would have expected out of an expensive shoe. I love the design, but there are too many red flags.

2022-04-11	Kitty Variant: Kitty Black Spazzolato	Beautiful, Comfortable, but a couple of minor quality issues Serena Wong	I decided a long time between the Black and the Extra Black with the Gold buckle detail, and I ultimately went for simple and classic without the embellishment, and I think it was the right decision for my closet and personal style. Overall, the shoes are of a good weight for a chunky loafer and are very beautiful in person. They aren't too high for me, and I rarely wear heels. I am a true size 5 in US sizing. I purchased the 35 and the width is just right for me, but without socks, my feet will slip out of the back of the shoe. With socks on, only my left foot slips out, but it still makes walking painful after a couple of hours. Placing half insoles should help with this, but I haven't tried it yet. On my first wear, I also noticed that the top surface left shoe started flaking even though I had only just stepped out of the house. The right shoe is fine, but I was disappointed to see this happen within a few minutes of wearing them. It might need to be buffed and polished, but I'm scared of ruining the leather. After about a half day out walking with these in the city, the soles had already some significant wear, and I know I'll have to take these to the cobbler to add a new sole for future protection. Overall: These are definitely an investment for a simple but beautiful pair of heeled loafers. If your feet are small like mine, you may need to also consider the extra cost of purchasing half insoles and taking them to a cobbler to extend the life of the shoes. I don't regret my purchase, but it is still extra effort and time on my part. I was especially disappointed to see the black flakes coming off my left shoe.

I ordered the 38 and these were big for me even with a sock. I have a narrow, flat foot so shoes can be tricky for me. I’m exchanging them for a 37 and I’m hoping the fit is just right. I seriously am in love with these. I also ordered the Joan boot as well and they are just as stunning, if not even more than the Kitty!! Is that possible?!? These styles are classic, and timeless. Love how the shoe looks and fits but the sole of the toe, as other reviewers have identified, scuffed terribly after two days of indoor wear. I took them to a cobbler to have another rubber sole put on to cover the unsightly scuffing. Add $50 to the cost of the shoe. At the price point of this shoe, this early damage is pretty shameful. However, despite that, I really love this shoe and would buy again from Lubucq.

I reached out to the helpful Labucq team and they said this is what they would categorize as normal wear. Knowing this, and that this is just 1 week of wearing them, I'd highly recommend getting them resoled with rubber to avoid visible wear. I sized up to wear with socks.

The rich green is a fresh and surprising color, yet coordinates well with a wide range of other colors and patterns. I walk at least a mile each day in my commute, and the Kitty Loafers can be worn to walk up and down hills as well as in the city. I have bought my regular size, but have taken each pair to the shoe repair shop to get them slightly stretched out, as I have wide feet. Love these shoes (and everything I’ve bought from Labucq!)

I’m a US 8 and that puts me right in between a 38 and a 39. I got these in a 38 but they are just the tiniest bit too small. I have a pair of Labucq boots in a 39 but don’t wear them as often because they are just a little bit too big. Otherwise, the shoes are incredible well-made and they are extremely cute.

I am normally a 39, and the fit is perfect for me (narrow and high in-step, wide toe box). These shoes are really nice. When I was traveling in Italy, I remember walking into certain shoe stores wondering why it is so hard to find simple, beautiful shoes in the US. Problem solved. I am certain this will not be the last pair of Labucq shoes that I purchase.

I wish they made the heel narrower because my heel slips out a bit when I walk (Adding a thin insole and heel cushions helped) It's not that the sizing is wrong for me, the length is perfect, it's just my really narrow feet. Also, the soles have no grip so they're kinda slippery. But I love them, they look so good with everything!!!

However, within the first month of me wearing them, the soles were braking and I had to get the heel resoled. I brought them to a high end cobbler and they looked great. Now, about 5 months later, the front sole on both shoes are coming off. These shoes are so beautiful but if you’re planning on walking in them, you’ll end up spending a lot more money than the price listed.

The leather feels like butter and feels so comfortable. This design is so lovely and I’m glad I brought these. I have received so many compliments already! I waited a long time to invest in these and read every review – most said ran true to size. The site itself also said if you were in between sizes (I run between 36-37 depending on the brand and type of shoe), then the suggestion would be to size up instead. I decided against this even though I want to wear this with socks and stuck to my usual 36 instead. I did this because with shoes from brands like LOQ in the past, when I went for 35, I could not walk comfortably in them after an hour. The loafer turned out to be the perfect width, but my heel slips out of the shoe when walking! Turns out I needed a 35, but couldn't exchange since it was out of stock. I really wanted to keep this shoe, so instead I bought three different types of thin insoles (as suggested by customer support), but the fit was even worse. Once the insoles are in, I struggled with getting my foot in at all, and for the ones I could, the toes were extremely crammed in the front. There was no way I could have walked more than 1 minute in them. It seems everything else but the length was a perfect fit. Additionally purchased some heel backings to see if that would help with slippage, but even with those in, my back foot slips when walking. I am super bummed and not sure this style will ever restock, so now am stuck with store credit :-(

While it doesn’t have the exact vibe of the pythons, I do love the overall quality and the heel is a perfect height for a gal who doesn’t love heels. They’ll be great for the summer and can go with just about any outfit. My feet are on the wider side so I have to do a little widening on them.

2021-02-11	Kitty Variant: Kitty Black Spazzolato	The perfect loafer Anonymous	I've been searching for months for the perfect loafer - like check every women's wear listicle on the best loafers of every year since 2015, check every loafer available on all the boutique sites - level searching... and every time I kept coming back to The Kitty Loafer, not astronomically pricey and the best heel and perfect amount of arch and structure than even the pricier loafers. So I finally pulled the trigger and got them. I'm usually an 8.5 and the sizing description tells you to size down if you're in between so I did and went with the 8s. When I got them they felt a tiny bit snug so I thought, maybe I'm a 9! Because sometimes I'm a 9. So they kindly exchanged them for me and the 9 was too big! So if you're between sizes definitely size down! I finally got the 8s back and wore thinner socks and I'm sure they'll loosen up more with use. I love these so much that I want every other color too. So anyway, for those of you that care, I did the heavy research, these are it!

I am a solid 10 in most all shoes and these were still small. The quality leather seems like it might stretch, but I didn’t take the chance. The lack of any traction on the soles was off-putting, and made an otherwise nicely made shoe feel a bit cheap. And strange/slippery to walk in. Cream leather arrived scuffed with black. I’d like to try again with another color and size.

I'd never wear snakeskin patterns, but for some reason really love this shoe. The size is good, I can fit a thin or medium sock, or add an insole with comfort but it's not too big. The drawback is the non-refundable policy, and the very cheap plastick-y heel sole. You'll have to take this to the cobbler before using.

There's enough room for a thick pair of socks for winter, but my heel does lift a little when going sans socks. A super fun update to my usual black loafers, and they really, truly, go with everything. I'm not much for heels but this block heel is super walkable and instantly makes me feel more put-together. Still working on breaking them in but I already know this is going to be my go-to shoe.

In US shoe size, I’m a 9; therefore, following the instructions of sizing on the website, I ordered a 39. I received the shoes rather quickly and noticed the shoes were way too big, they are narrow but the length was longer than needed. I tested (without pasting) two heel liners on each shoe and my foot would still come out when I walked. I then ordered a 38 and when I received it they were tight and my toes were jammed in. I was devastated, because the shoe is beautiful and so well done. For return policy reasons, I couldn’t get my money back, but I could exchange them for another size. So I decided to keep them and stretch them. After blow drying them (look it up) and leaving in a shoe stretcher for two days, they fit perfectly! They’re now comfortable and very wearable. If you’re willing to stretch them and be patient, I recommend them. They’re eye grabbing and mold quickly to your feet. But I do wish there were half sizes.

I emailed customer service to arrange for an exchange for the next size down, and they responded quickly and the process was not complicated. I think what I appreciated most was the feeling of receiving personalized service, even though my request was standard routine, I felt it received great attention. In terms of the quality of the shoe, it's worth the investment. I am currently waiting for this loafer in the ecru color in a size 40, but during the short hours I did have them, I loved them. The quality of the leather was fantastic...butter soft, well made and something that will be in my shoe collection for many, many years.

The quality is tops. A little snug to get on at first but not a big deal as they will stretch over time. I live in NYC and wanted a pair of heals that would be comfy, 'my style' and could stand up to miles of walking. My first outing with these new shoes was a 3.5 mile walk- no blisters and they made me feel great walking in them. I am so happy that I found a company that makes quality shoes which are visually striking, comfy, excellent craftsmanship and materials. I’m not into fast fashion and believe in buying shoes/clothes that will last.... worth saving up for. Labucq is now my go to shoe company and I will be purchasing from them for years to come.

Alice Bridgeman	was fortunate enough to get a discount on these for Black Friday and I am so glad that Labucq put them on sale so I could get my feet in them! I adore these shoes. They're incredibly comfortable and the leather they are made from is so thick and luxurious. I think luxurious is the best word I can think of to describe these! I plan to start saving up for a future pair as I love these so. They look absolutely wonderful with patterned socks and cropped pants, two things that were already engrained in my wardrobe. I have narrow feet so the issue seemed to be the heel area, it is a bit short/tight, note the real leather will surely stretch out with wear though. I just couldn’t even fit them over my heel. Customer service replied to my email within an hour (amazing! Especially during the pandemic) but unfortunately they do not offer an exchange option so my only choice was to return and re order (without my first time purchase promo deal BTW) I mailed the return back the day I received them and the company has already processed the return, 4 business days later (again, amazing!) so the customer service is pretty great but the sizing for this shoe is way off. I haven’t received my new pair yet so I can’t speak for comfort but the quality of the leather/stitching/sole was on point for the price point- beautiful shoe that will last a very long time.

And the quality is really solid so I don’t have to worry about wearing them “too much.” I can tell they are going to hold up for a long while! I got the 38 which is super comfortable especially after one or two wears. I am usually a 7.5/8 and these fit as well as I could have hoped. They go with a wide range of outfits and make me feel special whenever I wear them. The cream color + heel is a fun take on a classic loafer. If I could afford it I’d buy the cognac too. Maybe one day down the road!

They are comfortable and I enjoy the color and appreciate the quality of the materials used. The only reason I'm giving this a 4 star is because they're a little longer than I expected. Wearing them with a wide leg pant or thick socks helps.

2020-10-28	Kitty Variant: Kitty Orchid Python	*fcking obsessed** Alyssa Hoffman	i just truly have not seen a more beautiful shoe - maybe that's dramatic but i do not care. also - i ordered these and got the wrong size (my fault, i ordered the wrong size) but returning for the right size was so easy!! great customer service. worn these a few times and they are v comfortable so far!! i'm a true size 6, and the size guide said a size 36 = 5.5 but the 36 worked perfect for me in the end (37 was far too big) -- hope that helps anyone with sizing concerns!!

The color is really funky which adds a quirky element to any outfit. I would note, however, that because of the material, there may be more blue or green tones than in the picture. Mine came out a bit more blue than the picture shoes but I actually really liked this addition, and it also makes you feel like your shoes are unique. As for comfort, they're very easy to walk in (even on cobblestone) and didn't require any break in time (although mine were slightly large which might have accounted for this). I'm usually a size 37, which I ordered and they are a bit roomy, however, I wouldn't order a size smaller because I was worried they would be too small.

My only complaint is that they’re a tad big on me. I’m usually a size 7.5 and have ordered 38 in all other labucq shoes I own, but I wish I would’ve ordered a size 37 in these. Still highly recommend!
2020-10-26	Kitty Variant: Kitty Loafer Multi Python Calf	Haunted by dreams of these shoes until purchase Morgan Ryder	I first saw these shoes on an Instagram account and they were exactly what I had been looking for and unable to find. The price scared me a bit... but half a year later when they were still on my mind I decided to go ahead and order them. I ordered the Kitty Loafers in Cognac! and I truly love them. I'm usually a half size so I sized up as recommended since they weren't offered in half sizes. Unfortunately the 39 was a bit too big for me, but with a small insert I've had no further problems. They are SO comfortable to walk in-- I'm honestly amazed. I have found that they are easy to scuff-- but such is the life of a shoe. I also did have to pay a bit extra to get them into Canada, but I would do it again!

I’m usually a size 8 and I got a 38 and they fit perfectly. So maybe they are slightly on the larger side? (I think 38 is a 7.5). Anyways I love them and am so impressed with the quality.
