I was drawn to the classic silhouette of these sandals, and if I’m being honest, the Instagram ads really got me. These were the clear winners in my book. I actually gasped a bit when I opened the box. Everything felt right, from the heel height to the quality of the leather and the metallic shine of the silver. I love the square toe, which gives them a slightly more modern feel than other pairs I tried. They did have a short break-in period, but once I wore them around my block, they were pretty comfortable. The insole has enough padding and the caged front provides solid coverage. For one of the more structured pairs I tried, these really delivered. | |

... and this sandal gets them. Wonderful! I bought the Sonny Fisherman in Ivory; they look great and they're madly comfortable. Wearing them today sockless, but will be adding ankle socks here and there to suit the mood and the outfit. Beautifully constructed and the leather is supple. My only sticking point was the sizing. I take an 8.5 in most shoes, and am a solid 39 in Labucq's saddle oxfords, but needed a 38 in these. | |

I love the shoe - the quality is superb. Ungortunately, my foot appears to be neither an 8 nor an an 8,5!! one is too small the other way too long. oh well, untill next time… |
