These boots are fantastic - stylish, comfortable, and they seem very well made. I usually wear size 9/9.5; I went with size 39 in these boots based on other reviews, and it took a few wears but they have broken in very nicely. These will be my go-to boots for work and going out, the low heel is perfect. My one complaint is that the outsole is smooth leather with no tread/traction -- Not useful for city living in winter. I will need to take these to a cobbler to add a better sole, which is frustrating considering that these were expensive boots to begin with! | |

I Love this boot..this is the boot I have been searching for my whole life….Perfect travel boot..Lightweight, comfortable and Stylish…looks good with a fancy maxi dress, or jeans…so well made..so soft…Thank you for making this..now do it in brown and other colors..I wear a 8 to an 8.5 and got the 39..it will be perfection in a couple of wearings. Length perfect and a tad narrow but so soft it will not be a problem.. | |

I received my boots after a short supply delay. They are comfortable and look good. However, they appear as though they may be a display pair. One of the boots does not have the brightness as the other, and it’s quite worn in the back. I can live with it b/c I can’t be bothered with a return. | |

There were a couple of hiccups during the process of purchasing these shoes, but customer service made everything run as smoothly as possible. They were very accommodating. long story short: I have the shoes and they’re stunning. I’ve read some reviews about a fussy zipper but I’m confident if anything goes awry I’ll get help from customer service. I’m typically a size 9 and the 39s fit snug but I think they’ll loosen up after a few wears. It really is probably one of the most perfect shoes I’ve been able to find— heel isn’t too high and not overly chunky and the shaft is the perfect length as well. Leather is beautiful, color is beautiful etc etc 10/10 | |

These boots are fantastic. Fit wonderfully right out the box which is a miracle for me. I have a very high arch but these boots are molding beautiful and accommodating it. I love the style and quality. I will have my cobbler add a thin nonslip layer to the sole. Otherwise, I can wear these out of the box. Addy provided exceptional customer service adding an insole to my order at the last minute and letting me know when the order would ship. Shipping was remarkably fast. She represents this brand in a manner comparable with the quality and style of my boots. I hope the company appreciates her as much as I do! I look forward to buying a loafer next. A note on sizing: I'm a 7 1/2 - 8 wide. After much contemplation, I ordered the 39 which is perfect. For a loafer I may need to size down so that it doesn't slip off my heal. Boots are more forgiving in this aspect. One request, please make this in a medium brown, possibly in the croc leather or a true taupe/tan versus the cream. I'll be waiting..... I really couldn't be happier! | |

Okay, so let me start this off that if a 4.5 rating were available, that would be my true rating. These boots are gorgeous and so well made and incredibly high quality! My only reason for not going five stars is that the zipper on the back of the boots isn’t awesome. It doesn’t feel as elevated as the rest of the boot and was difficult to zip up and down. I ended up have to “grease” the zipper to get it to go up and down properly. But like many others, have to compliment Team Labucq on their customer service. When I emailed to get advice on the zipper, they offered to pay for the repair at a local cobbler, no questions asked. So even though I wish the zipper were a bit better quality, I am thrilled with the boots overall and would definitely purchase from Labucq again! | |

Love everything Labucq makes. I’ve got these in black & red. The red ones are STUNNING, but the leather is a little stiffer than the black ones. It took me a few wears to get them really comfortable—which isn’t surprising for boots anyway—but keep that in mind. Absolutely worth the price and such a perfect statement piece. For reference, I’m a 9/9.5 & the size 40 is perfect. | |

These shoes are gorgeous--but the 42 is not a true 11.5/12. I could get my foot in, but couldn't zip the back. Whereas I do fit the Joan boots (though those are taking some breaking in---I was hoping they'd be more comfy at the jump). Definitely meant for flatter narrower feet | |

I was honestly taken aback by the beautiful quality of this shoe - the leather, structure, everything. I have big feet and they don't make my feet look bigger like boots can for larger sizes, and they are lightweight/easy to walk in. They're slim enough to wear under straight leg pants but not so slim that they create a sausage effect. Love them. | |

These boots a very narrow. I typically wear shoes with a regular width and I couldn’t get my foot into these shoes even after returning and going up a full shoe size. Then, because the shoes were on sale (still just under $400) I am not able to get a refund to my original payment method. I have store credit and to be honest - I am afraid to pay the difference for a new pair and find that those are too narrow too. | |

I love the design of Labucq shoes. They are an excellent balance of retro and modern. I gave them 4 stars because they do require a trip to the cobbler to get a bit of tread added to the bottom or else you'll slip and slide around. They also take a bit of effort to wear in to reach their comfort potential, but this is true of a lot of leather shoes. | |

For some reason I was under the impression that these shoes would be much more on the white side. They are a light tan really, which isn't bad just not what I was expecting. I went with size 38 for my size 7 foot and I'm thinking maybe I should've sized down since the fit is quite roomy. They also do scuff very easily. All things considered I still really love these shoes and find myself wearing them almost every day since they are so easy to style. | |
