I am not sure I have ever had a pair of leather boots that were this comfortable on their first wear. No blisters, no rubbing, nothing. The boot is light and the leather is extremely soft. The heel is just high enough. I wore these all day at work and then continued wearing them all evening. I typically wear a US 9 and purchased these in a size 40. I am very happy. I know they will last for years. | |

I love these boots! I actually expected them to be quite heavy cause of the heel, but was pleasantly surprised to find they were lightweight. The leather is buttery soft and prone to creasing, but it molds/contours nicely to my feet. The heel height is very comfortable and stable as well, so they're perfect for walking. Sized up by 1/2 because I usually put a shoe insert and they were perfect! My only gripe is that I was expecting the zipper to be black-ish, but it turned out to be a bright silver instead. The ends of the zipper trail (?) also had these weird glue/plastic like things instead of actual stopper. They're just small details I wish would be improved because they take away a bit of sleekness from the boot. Overall though, I'm extremely happy with these boots! They have such a classic silhouette and I'm sure I'll wear these for many years to come. | |

i gotta say these boots are gorgeous. probably the most luxurious thing i’ve ever bought myself. at the sale price these were an absolute steal. they’re even more gorgeous in person, too. i got the size 42 which is perfect, a little tight the first wear but broke in so quickly. very comfortable now. would recommend to anyone!! | |

I purchased the Charli sandals last summer and loved them, so figured I would invest in some Labucq boots when black friday sales came around. I really appreciate the craftsmanship of Labucq shoes -- the leather is so soft and luxurious, and everything about the construction feels very high quality. These boots are lightweight, but still sturdy. I have pretty high standard for comfort in shoes. If I can't walk a mile in them to work, I'm not going to wear them - these passed the test. The block heel is very walkable; I've worn these around a few times so far on 1-2 mile walks, and have been fairly comfortable. Very minimal rubbing/chafing so far, and I assume any of that will go away as I break them in more. There's not a ton of cushion/support on the front of the boot, so that's where I found my feet getting tired after a while. If these had a ~1/2 inch rubber outsole, that would definitely help with grip and comfort, but would take away from the sleek appearance. All in all, it's a beautiful shoe. I feel fabulous when I wear them, and have gotten complimented from strangers in them. | |

I've had my eye on these for forever, and I finally treated myself for my birthday! It took two tries to find the proper fitting pair- I normally wear a size 8, and I thought that the 38 was the converted size. When I received them, they were too small. I reached out to customer service and ended up buying the 38.5, since apparently that was closer to a size 8 than the 38's. The shoes are beautifully made and I'm sure will be my new go-to pair. The only reason why I've taken a star off my rating is because of the lack of an exchange process at Labucq. These shoes are not inexpensive, and they don't offer exchanges. I had to return these and purchase a new pair. My refund did not include the shipping price, and I was no longer able to use a coupon code that I had used with the first pair on the "exchange" pair. So it cost more money to return the original ones and get the right size, on a purchase that was already a splurge for me. My fault for not knowing my correct (converted) size when purchasing the first time- but still, I would hope for more from a luxury brand! |
