I was completely shocked when the back strap completely snapped off while walking around London. Labucq offered to pay for the repairs but this shouldn’t happen with shoes this expensive and after only having them a short while. Disappointed. | |

Light and comfortable. Wore them to walk around Boston all day and my feet were not sore or tired. One note: the band on the back part of the netting is a bit tight, but it should stretch to fit my foot after regular wear since leather does give. Love them! | |

The black with olive green sandals are so comfortable and beautiful. The height of the platform is perfect for my 5' 2" size and the mesh fabric is cool and comfortable. My toes stay secure inside and don't poke through (very important!) but are cool all day long. The color is very versatile. I wear a 5.5 or 6.0 and purchased the size 36. | |

I did quite a bit of research on Labucq and was amazing at the drive & determination of the owner. Her factory chosen is one of the best in Italy. I finally made the purchase not ever spending $500 on a sandle, I wore them in Tennessee on Easter for the first time . Can you guess my review? They fit like a glove, not tight or loose, comfortable beyond what I expected. Wore them over 7 hours and felt like my feet were on clouds. At the end of two egg hunts, dinner, dessert and a movie I took them off and thought; “I can’t wait to wear these again!” Can’t wait to make my next purchase❤️❤️❤️So very very happy with this purchase 🙌🙌🙌 | |

Great shoe, unique look, very comfortable, firm platform. I have a wider foot and it still fit well. However, I feel there is not enough compression with the rafia so the side of my foot bulges out to the side a bit. | |

LOVE the look of the sandals. Unfortunately, the black foam at the bottom is incredibly firm. If you're used to a bit more give with your shoes, these aren't for you. It almost feels like you're walking barefoot. | |

The shoes appeared well made and were comfortable, but didn’t suit me. I had hoped they’d be a great summer shoe but with anything other than pants they were too bulky & my feet looked massive. The return experience wasn’t great - there was a return fee and they required USPS for shipping, which is challenging if you don’t have a printer. I’m hesitant to order online from Labucq again. | |

I’ve been a Boomer wearer for years & I love them! But ordering shoes online is always dicey because my feet are wide across the ball. The Labucq chat staff assured me the Panama was Boomer’s first cousin, but I still hesitated. I also worried the faux jute inset might feel rough. I typically wear a 7.5 & ordered the 38, the same size as my Boomers. So, the sandals arrived today and I’m thrilled to report they’re incredibly comfortable - the decorative inset is soft and quite flexible. But above all, they look so fun & fashionable! I have three pairs of LaBucq sandals and shoes--The Boomer sandal in black (my daughter has it in tan), The Joan boot in black and NOW the Panama Sandal in Olive. I flat out love them all, but the Panama Sandal in Olive is my favorite. I wear all of my LaBucqs and get a zillion compliments every time but the Panama will be my go to sandal this summer. Stylish, easy to put on and off, extremely comfortable and gives me an extra couple of inches of height (always a good thing for someone 5'3".) I've been so pleased with LaBucq purchases over the past couple of years. I typically wear a 7.5 and find all of my LaBucqs fit consistently and are soooooo comfortable. Unsurpassed quality, worth every penny! | |

I was really in love with this sandal but disappointed in the execution of the design. The 41 sole was a good fit but the throat of the sandal was too big and ill fitting. The woven raffia was lumpy and also too big. It was unattractive on the foot. Perhaps some elastic woven in with the raffia to render it formfitting would have been the ticket. Ultimately the great design did not carry through in the details of the making of this sandal. I returned my pair. | |
